The Trezor hardware wallet offers unparalleled security for managing your digital assets. Accessing your wallet involves a multi-step process designed to eliminate risks associated with software vulnerabilities.

Step 1: Preparing Your Environment

Before connecting your Trezor, ensure your computer is free from malware. We recommend using a dedicated, up-to-date operating system.

Download and install the latest version of **Trezor Suite** or access the web wallet at **suite.trezor.io**.
Ensure your operating system is patched and your anti-virus software (if any) is running.
Use an **original USB cable** to connect your Trezor device.

Step 2: Connecting and Initializing

Once connected, the Trezor Suite or web interface will detect your device. You'll be prompted to enter your **PIN** on the device itself.

⚠️ **PIN Entry Security:** The PIN is entered on the **Trezor screen**, but you click the corresponding numbers on your **computer screen** using a randomized grid. This prevents keyloggers from capturing your PIN.
